PriceKit creates pricing recommendations to make it easier and quicker to decide about the prices and as a result you can maximise your profit.
How does price recommendation work?
The parts of price recommendations made by PriceKit:
On a web store level, you can set a position-based pricing strategy. This strategy will apply to all your monitored products in your PriceKit account.
You can also set pricing strategies on a product level. If you set a strategy on the product card, that will apply for that product and not the web-store level strategy.
Once editing the product you can also set a min or max price, that way PriceKit will recommend prices between those two. About the position-based pricing strategies, you can read more here.
Changing prices
All the products that have a pricing recommendation can be found under 'Suggested prices' on the upper navigation bar.
If a product has a discount, the original list price will be crossed and the discounted price will be shown underneath. Clicking on 'Change price' a popup window will appear where there is a detailed description of the suggestion and you can approve the price. You can also change the price on this window if needed and then approve.
Once the price is approved by you, the product will be moved to 'Priced products'
Clicking on the export button, we will send you all the data found on this page exported to an excel sheet.
If your webshop is integrated into your PriceKit account, clicking on 'Change price' we will send the new price to your web shop and it will be updated in seconds.
-if the new price is smaller than the list price, we will change the discounted price
-if the new price is bigger than the list price, we will change the list price
